The meats the teams were preparing last week is pretty popular event known as asado, or BBQ. The event is very social and includes a variety of meets including lamb and chicken. There can also be appetizers and salads.

In Chile, it is often accompanied with pebra, a local condiment made from pureed herbs, garlic and hot peppers.

    Pebra sounds like it could be good. Probably not as good as chimichurri though...that stuff rocks.
